The fringe on this Chinese Rug was loose and flimsy because the latex adhesive holding the rug together had dry rotted.	After Mike cut the fringes from both ends, he began to serge the rug.	Mike selected a color of serge yarn to match the wool pile.

This rug was in need of major repair. The serge was worn completely down to the foundation. Wool was seperating in clumps from the torn fringes.		The customer selected a color of serge that matched the old serge. She decided to serge the entire rug.
